CNC Milling, Turning
& Routing Services
Work envelopes to 70″ × 165″ × 35″, mill-turn to 28″ diameter by 89″ long, and high speed spindles for the small stuff. All of it inside a climate-controlled facility built to hold tolerance.
Very small parts, very large parts, same building.
We keep expanding capacity by installing the latest CNC milling, turning, mill-turn, and routing technology. Whether the job calls for very small parts on high speed spindles or large, heavy parts needing 50 taper tooling and a 70″ × 165″ × 35″ work envelope, the equipment to make them is already on the floor.
That range matters more than any single machine spec. Most shops are set up for one end of the size scale, so a part that falls outside it gets subcontracted, and the schedule and accountability go with it. Running both ends in one building means a prototype and its full-size production sibling can be quoted by the same team.
Our facility is air conditioned, which is not a comfort decision. Climate control is what lets us hold the tolerances demanded by the most exacting applications, because steel that grows and shrinks with the shop temperature will not repeat.
Verticals run with rotaries, horizontals are set up for high production, and vacuum tables with dedicated exhaust handle composite dust safely. Everything is inspected against our AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality system before it ships.
Machining Capabilities
- Multiple CNC machines, work envelopes from 60″ × 144″ × 24″ up to 70″ × 165″ × 35″
- Multiple mill-turn up to 28″ diameter × 89″ long
- Multiple verticals equipped with rotaries
- Multiple horizontals equipped for high production
- High speed spindles, 30 / 40 / 50 taper, right angle milling and drilling
- Vacuum tables and exhaust systems for composite dust
Four ways to take material off a part.
Choosing the right one is usually where cost is won or lost. Tell us what the part has to do and we will suggest the approach.
CNC Milling
Verticals with rotaries for complex features, horizontals configured for high production volume, and right angle heads to reach what a standard spindle cannot.
Turning
Round parts to 28″ in diameter and 89″ in length, from single prototypes through repeating production runs.
Mill-Turn
Turning and milling in one setup. Fewer setups means fewer chances to stack tolerance, and a shorter path from raw stock to finished part.
Routing
Vacuum tables hold thermoplastics, composites, and aluminum flat and secure, with exhaust systems that capture composite dust at the source.
Precision is a building, not just a machine.
A capable spindle is the easy part. Repeating a tight tolerance across a production run depends on the environment around it and the measurement behind it.
Climate Control
The facility is air conditioned so metal is not expanding and contracting between the first part and the last. It is the unglamorous reason tight tolerances actually repeat.
Advanced Inspection
Our quality assurance group works with CMM, FARO arm, laser QC, and optical comparators, verifying features against the print or the model rather than eyeballing them.
Documented Results
QA works alongside production to process and document parts, so what shipped is provable later. On aerospace and defense programs the record is part of the deliverable.
