Laser Cutting
Services in DFW
Four fiber laser systems from 200 to 10,000 watts, cutting everything from thin shim stock and foil to one inch stainless, aluminum, and steel. Custom laser cutting in Irving, Texas since 1996.
Capacity and flexibility most shops cannot match.
Since 1996, Maximum Industries has specialized in custom laser cutting alongside laser part marking and engraving. Our laser cell processes very thin plastics through thicker steels on the same floor, which keeps multi-material jobs from turning into multi-vendor jobs.
Most laser cutting facilities lack either the capacity or the flexibility to take on unusual work. Ours was built for both. Whether the job is large volumes of precision plastic parts for the medical industry or armor plate for up-armoring military vehicles, it is within our capability.
Four fiber systems ranging from 200 watts to 10,000 watts mean the right machine gets matched to the material instead of forcing one machine to do everything. Dual shuttle tables keep the beam cutting while the next sheet is loaded, which shortens cycle times and pulls in delivery dates.
Every part is inspected against our AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality system before it ships.
Laser Cutting Capabilities
- Four cutting systems, 200 watt to 10,000 watt fiber technology
- Dual shuttles that reduce cycle times and improve deliveries
- Up to 1″ stainless steel, aluminum, and steel
- 60″ × 160″ cutting envelope on the 10,000 watt system
- Oxygen or nitrogen assist gas for polished edges on stainless
- Very thin shim stock and foils through 3/4″ steel
- Laser tube cutting alongside flat sheet and plate
From foil to armor plate.
Matching the right wattage to the material is the difference between a clean edge and a secondary operation. Four systems give us that range.
Steel & Stainless
Up to one inch on the 10,000 watt system, with oxygen or nitrogen assist selected to suit the edge finish the part requires.
Aluminum
Cut to one inch. Fiber technology handles reflective material that older CO2 systems struggle with.
Thin Stock & Foils
Lower wattage systems cut very thin shim stock and foil without burning through or distorting the part.
Acrylic & Plastics
POP displays, signage, and acrylic parts come off the machine with polished edges, so no secondary finishing is needed.
The edge that comes off the machine is the edge you get.
Secondary finishing is cost that should not exist. Assist gas selection, wattage matching, and shuttle scheduling are set up so parts ship straight off the table.
Assist Gas Selection
Oxygen or nitrogen is chosen per job. Nitrogen produces the clean, oxide-free edge stainless needs when the part will be welded, polished, or left visible.
Polished Acrylic Edges
Acrylic for POP displays and signage leaves the machine with polished edges already, removing a finishing step and the cost that goes with it.
Dual Shuttle Throughput
While one table is cutting, the next is being loaded. The beam spends more time in the cut and less time waiting, which is what compresses a delivery schedule.
Cutting for the programs that cannot compromise.
